The Roman baths were a series or rooms with pools or steam. The baths had cold, cool, warm, hot, and steamy rooms, all with different purposes. Under the rooms there were fires, boiling water, and different types of cooling. Only free men could go in the water. The women would sit in chairs and talk while the men were pampered. There was wine, alcohol, grapes and junk food. There was even entertainment, like juggling, gymnastics, and a joker to delight you with jokes.
